A senior session that was bound to make this garden-loving, warmth-driven photographer love the snow.
I remember when Ruby approached me inquiring about her senior session. She had a clear vision of what she wanted, split session focused on cross country/track and field and a session in the snow. I instantly saw it, white, beautiful snow, evergreens, and rosy cheeks and nose! I immediately fell in love with the idea.
Winter is usually a season that I choose to take off to focus on my family because of the holidays and birthdays. This session was the first winter senior session that I have had the privilege of shooting and it has changed my outlook on winter sessions.
You can be sure to catch me encouraging my future seniors to add this to their senior packages because the ending result was absolutely breathtaking!
The location and the senior made this a session that will be unforgettable. Allerton Park and Retreat Center is a regular location for me to take my seniors and looked so beautiful coated in snow. Ruby was an absolute showstopper in her red peacoat and curly hair.
